About the game

Uncrypt is a game that puts you in the shoes of a computer virus on an educational journey involving a world that is based on real computer architecture. Instead of defending systems, you'll learn cybersecurity by becoming the threat. Navigate through firewalls using real terminal commands like `nmap` and `cd`, battle antivirus enemies, and decrypt protected files as you explore 2.5D environments. The game teaches network security, file systems, and basic cryptography through gameplay rather than lectures. Perfect for beginners curious about cybersecurity, Uncrypt makes complex concepts accessible by showing how systems get compromised.

Controls

Move: WASD or Arrow Keys

Attack: Left MB, Z or Enter

Aim: By default you will attack towards the direction you're moving (ex. if you're moving to the right you will attack in that direction). If you wish to aim with your mouse instead then open the settings by pressing ESC.

Dash: Left Shift

You can also play with a controller but you'll have to use a keyboard to interact with the terminal.
